Armand Mekontso Dessap is a Professor of Intensive Care Medicine at the University of Paris-Est Créteil (UPEC) and Head of the Department of Intensive Care Medicine at Henri Mondor Hospital (Greater Paris Public Hospitals). He leads the CARMAS research group (Cardiovascular and Respiratory Manifestations of Acute Lung Injury and Sepsis) at UPEC, which investigates acute respiratory and circulatory failures.
