Marcus J. Schultz is Professor of Experimental Intensive Care Medicine, an internationally recognized authority on invasive ventilation and lung protection, and among the most highly cited investigators in Critical Care Medicine. He co-founded the PROVE Network, CRIT CARE ASIA & AFRICA, and famICom, and has mentored over 80 PhD candidates (8 now professors). He holds appointments at Cantonal Hospital St. Gallen, Vienna General Hospital, Oxford, and Mahidol University.
