Gennaro Martucci is anesthesiologist and intensivist at IRCCS-ISMETT in Palermo (Italy), one of the international centers of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. His main appointment is currently as Head of Pediatric Anesthesia.
Dr. Martucci completed his studies in Naples and obtained his PhD at Maastricht University on Extracorporeal membrane Oxygenation. Since his clinical activities on liver transplantation and organ support, his main research activities as study of the coagulation and transfusion management in a wide range of fields.
He is a new member of the EuroELSO Steering Committee since May 2026.
